لبنان يفقد لقب صاحب صحـن الحمـص الأكبـر

سكان قرية ابو غوش مجتمعون حول «أكبر» صحن حمص أمس في ضواحي القدس المحتلة (أ ب)

بعد اقل من أربعة أشهر من دخوله موسوعة غينيس للأرقام القياسية، لإعداده أكبر صحن حمص بطحينة، فقد لبنان تاجه الذهبي أمس، أمام الفلسطينيين في الأراضي المحتلة منذ العام 1948.

فقد تمكّن 50 من الطهاة في قرية أبو غوش، قرب القدس المحتلة، من إعداد صحن بلغ وزنه أكثر من أربعة أطنان، أي ضعف وزن الصحن اللبناني. وبلغ قطر الصحن الذي أعدّه طهاة ابو غوش ستة أمتار.

وأعلن المسؤول في غينيس جاك بروكبانك، الذي حضر مراسم إعداد الصحن، فوز ابو غوش بالرقم العالمي، معرباً عن ثقته بأن اللبنانيين لن يستكينوا، وأنهم سيعاودون الكرة: «ستكون حرباً طويلة، ولكن لذيذة».

وقال منظم المسابقة جودت ابراهيم من قرية ابو غوش، إن «المنافسة على ملكية الحمص غير ذات جدوى. فكلنا نشارك بأكل الحمص والتمتع به».

وردّ وزير السياحة اللبناني فادي عبود أن لبنان عازم على «كسر الرقم القياسي الجديد» بصحن أكبر منه، سيتم إعداده هذه المرة، عند الحدود مع فلسطين المحتلة، خلال الربيع المقبل، «بهذه الطريقة سيتعلّمون كيف يعدّون الحمّص»، مذكّراً بان هذا الطبق «لبناني»، وإن أراد آخرون إعداده «فليسمّوه اسماً آخر».

Lebanese chefs react after preparing a massive plate of hummus, seen in the middle, weighing more then 2,056 kilograms, during a bid to break a record previously held by Israel and reclaim ownership over the popular Middle Eastern dish, in Beirut, Lebanon, Saturday Oct. 24, 2009. The event is part of a simmering war between Lebanon and Israel over regional cuisine. Lebanese businessmen accuse Israel of stealing traditional Middle Eastern dishes, like hummus, and marketing them worldwide as Israeli products.
